Manager Overview
"Calm, calculated, and tactically incisive. Michael Carrick's managerial journey began with an unbeaten caretaker spell at Manchester United in 2021 before engineering a remarkable turnaround at Middlesbrough, guiding them from the relegation zone to the Championship play-offs. In early 2026, he stepped back into Old Trafford, stabilizing the club and earning a permanent mandate with balanced, composed possession football."
